Def Con 15, and various.
Def Con 15 was this past couple days. It was held in Las Vegas, at the Riviera. This was my first trip to the west, and I now have a place that I hate more than any other place on this planet. Las Vegas was the most disgusting, and with a lack of better words the most unethical place I've ever seen.
You walk down the strip of bright lights in the "jewel of Capitalism", and there are Mexicans whom do not speak English passing out little cards that have prostitutes pictures on them, and phone numbers. There was trash everywhere, mostly those disgusting little pieces of paper, and it seemed like there was construction everywhere. My mom, and aunt always tell me about how my grandma use to talk about Las Vegas all the time, and about how she thought everyone should go there once in their life. I just don't think that this Las Vegas I went to was that of the same in which she was speaking of.
Def Con 15 was amazing. I learned sooo much, it's unbelievable. Rick's presentation went very well. Within 5 minutes after his presentation the Myspace rep in the audience called into the Myspace headquarters, and they deleted his account. Then 15 minutes after the presentation they fixed the exploit that they have been sitting on for months. It was pretty ridiculous.
Other than that, and the fact that I couldn't see the best girl ever, for which seemed like the longest weekend of my life, the trip went pretty well.
