I saw the sneak premier of Gibson's Apocalypto last night. I didn't like it.
The only thing I really liked about last night, was the walk back to my dorm. It was the perfect night, so perfect in fact that I started to tear up.

Sarah and I were talking about the movies she watched last night at Dave's. She was at Dave's house all night because she got kicked out of her house. It's a long story, and I'm not about to get into it. Just for the fact that fighting on any level is a waste of time; even wasting time talking about it is pointless. Unless of course, if it's gladiators, the Trojan/Spartan army , or the UFC.
She watched "Can't Hardly Wait." I use to like that movie a lot in high school, but now that I am out, I don't really connect to it that much. Sarah also watched "The Squid and the Whale." Braumbach directed that movie, and I could not help to think about Wes Anderson when she said this, because Anderson and Braumabach work together a lot. This sparked thinking about Anderson's films, and he is actually one of my favorite directors, if not my favorite. I've loved all his movies, even before I started to like movies. I use to watch "Rushmore" a lot and now that I know a little about film making I can really respect him.
PS. I don't think Mr. Anderson has any water in his mouth. Look at where the water line is "post gulp", that is usually where I fill my glass up "pre gulp".
PSS. Watch the clip from Bottle Rocket, and try not to laugh at his comedic genius. Let me try and set up the scene. They scoping out the building, and you think Luke is going over schematics, because Owen has binoculars out. But, mostly listen to the line "There he goes, and there he is".

Headlights burning bright ahead of you.
There really isn't anything to really write about lately. Fall semester is almost done, with less than 2 weeks. I'm excited for winter break, and just not doing anything. I will mostly read, and watch all my new movies I hope to get from Christmas. The weather is so nice for being 4 days from December. It is currently 60 degrees in the home town of Liam Lynch that is Akron Ohio.
I have realized that life is a joke. People care way to much about things that don't matter, and more importantly they care about what people think of them far too much. I have gone through caring, and from experience you really shouldn't worry about anything. I have my views on things, and I stick with them. If people can't deal, oh well. Get over it. I just don't see why people are stressing out about my views on things. I live my life, you live yours. It's that simple. Sometimes I will give insight when I think I should, and I know others will to me also. I just don't see why people are spreading hate, and talking behind everyones back, because others do things others don't do. Whatever, I don't even know what I'm writing anymore on this subject.
...moving on...
English class is basically done. We had our last actual class today, it was fun. English is the only class that I look forward to in the morning. Next semester I got the same professor because his is a cool ass guy. We talk about religion, and how organized religion is a horrible thing. How if people were just spiritual, instead of religious, the world would be a lot better. I don't have to go back to English in till Friday, and that is only to schedule my conference for my final, and to set a date. Then I will just have to show up for that, and I'm done. It is good. This semester sure did go by fast.
Wednesday night, there is a sneak preview/early premier for Mel Gibson's "Apocalypto", I'm excited about that, because it makes me think of the Akron Film Festival in April. I cannot wait for that either.

Well, Lets See.
I have been thinking about relationships these past 3 days. I have decided to write about the center of my attention as of late. I don't see how people look so far into the future when it comes to their current relationships.
My internet was not working in the morning, and I wanted to check the weather. When my roomate left, I went on his computer to check the "My Weather" widget (it's a Mac thing). There, right next to the weather, was "My Calender", on it was 2223 days intill I propose. When I read this I got really pissed off, maybe because I've been fasting for a couple days, or because it was extremely early. Regardless, this is the first relationship my roomate has ever been in, and has only one year punched in on the time clock. 2223 days is roughly more than 6 1/2 years away. What the fuck? I might murder the kid tomorrow, that would cast some rain on his and her parade. You just want to SHAKE them. There is 99.7% chance you are going to get fucked over, and things are not going to work out, but low and behold "Dude! Fuck off! I'm going to marry her!"
I'm sick of seeing it.
Oh well, only 45 more years to put up with shit.

November 13th 2006.
Today was a very relaxing day, of course, it was not that way in the morning. I'm having a horrible time with this chapter of math. I should not be worrying about it as much as I am, but if you know me, then you know how things effect me and tear me up, or it might just be that I have to have something to worry about. Regardless, things are being very good to me lately, things that shouldn't. It may be because I had shit cover me for most of my life, that things might be changing. But it is strange. I received a 14/20 on my math quiz. This is far better than what I expected to do.
After she gave my quiz back to me, she gave me my progress report to turn in to the Dean. It said that my percent increased by 3%, and I have no clue as of why. Why would a 14/20 quiz raise my grade in her class from a 91% to a 94%. I'm starting to get worried, because it has been way to long since something has gone wrong in my life. I'm long over due for a kick to the balls.
After math I had to go to writing, and he talked about our research report, and our upcoming revision we have to do. He gave back our last report, mine was about vegetarian's and animal rights; I received a B+ on it. Again, a lot higher grade than the one I was expecting. I just pray that I don't have to receive a kick to the balls anytime soon.
...
Well, moving on. I saw Do Make Say Think and Broken Social Scene with Sarah, It was amazing. Broken Social Scene was so goddamn amazing, but not as amazing as Sarah.
...
Today is 11/13/06 so that means there is only 25 more days left of the semester, and only like 80 more days of school till the end of the year. I'm very excited for the breaks. Winter break will be great, and summer will be even better.
Keller and I have been talking about New Years, and we want to have a get together. Much like last years. We will be cooking all day and have a few people over (place is still being worked on) and then having a party at night, I hope it will be good. I miss a lot of people.
My friends and myself are also planning on going to Florida for summer. It will be bloody amazing if it actually happens. I haven't been on a vacation in 7 years. I want to fall asleep to the waves very badly, and it will only add fuel to my fire of wanting to graduate and move to California.

The peices are starting to fall in place.
I started my research paper on my degree in Emergency Management, and FEMA (Federal Emergency Management Association). So, I'm getting a lot more information than I first did. Out of curiosity I went to FEMA's website and looked for job openings. I looked for jobs based out of California, because that is where I plan to move to out of college. Oakland is the only city in California that has a FEMA center, at first I was bummed because I want to move to the Bay Area, and Oakland sounded stupid, but then I reliezed that Oakland is 11 minutes away from San Fransisco. I just felt the need to write this because this has made my day. Oh yeah, the job that was open was an annual salary of $117,751-$143,000. ROLLING!
I scheduled my Spring semester classes yesterday. I came to the relization that slowly but surely I'm getting college done, and I cannot wait till that day comes.

My stances on November 7th general election.
I support issue 5, for smoke free Ohio.
I do not support issue 4, It lets smoking be exempt in restaurants, halls, and other places.
I support issue 2 for raising the minum wage to 6.85.
I'm apathetic about issue 3, the gambling issue, but if I were to vote on it it would be against it.
I'm for alternate energy.
I'm for stem cell research.
I'm for same sex marriage.
I think our healthcare system sucks, so we should have socialized healthcare, with 51cents of every dollar going to the military, we should be able to find some way to get a better healthcare plan.
And I also go against everything that Bush is for.
