Sarah and I were talking about the movies she watched last night at Dave's. She was at Dave's house all night because she got kicked out of her house. It's a long story, and I'm not about to get into it. Just for the fact that fighting on any level is a waste of time; even wasting time talking about it is pointless. Unless of course, if it's gladiators, the Trojan/Spartan army , or the UFC.
She watched "Can't Hardly Wait." I use to like that movie a lot in high school, but now that I am out, I don't really connect to it that much. Sarah also watched "The Squid and the Whale." Braumbach directed that movie, and I could not help to think about Wes Anderson when she said this, because Anderson and Braumabach work together a lot. This sparked thinking about Anderson's films, and he is actually one of my favorite directors, if not my favorite. I've loved all his movies, even before I started to like movies. I use to watch "Rushmore" a lot and now that I know a little about film making I can really respect him.
PS. I don't think Mr. Anderson has any water in his mouth. Look at where the water line is "post gulp", that is usually where I fill my glass up "pre gulp".
PSS. Watch the clip from Bottle Rocket, and try not to laugh at his comedic genius. Let me try and set up the scene. They scoping out the building, and you think Luke is going over schematics, because Owen has binoculars out. But, mostly listen to the line "There he goes, and there he is".
